Wilderness Festival
At the renowned Wilderness Festival, I was asked to use my signwriting craftsmanship for the festival's impressive banqueting area. Within a strict timeframe of two and a half days, I was tasked with sketching and hand painting six large-scale signs, recreating and incorporating the various logos of the festival's high-end catering companies into each bespoke sign. I was also asked to design and execute various cocktail menu boards with chalk pens. The final steps of the project involved my assistance in the installation process, including mapping the sign locations and assembling the scaffolding.
Glastonbury Festival
During the 2022 Glastonbury Festival, I worked for Imagineerium LTD as a scenic painter and event space dresser for the famed 'Silver Hayes' area. Over a course of two weeks, I engaged in an immersive hands-on experience, which included activities like hand-sanding and varnishing vast amounts of wood, used to create the vibrant stage, eye-catching sculptural pieces, and iconic wooden signs. My responsibilities extended to dressing the locale, including securing foliage to the back of the main entrance sign, securing hessian across the entire scaffold, and co-dressing the VIP bar area. A last-minute addition was the styling of the 'Firmly Rooted' stage, which we transformed into a Jamaican shack using available materials, offering a visually compelling backdrop to the genre artists who were to perform, ultimately contributing to a modern, fun-filled redesign of this legendary music festival area.

Greenman Festival
At the Greenman Festival, I was commissioned by Table Top Coffee to revitalize the visibility and style of their premises, starting with a thorough revamp of their directional signs. This extended to hand painting the coffee shop’s logos on two double-sided A-boards and fabricating 'order here' signs, imparting a unique and eye-catching touch to the user navigation process. Lastly, the menus were re-written in the iconic Greenman font, lending a cohesive and quintessential charm to the brand at the festival.

A distinctive branding project for the CBD coffee shop 'Only Green', as well as smaller, personal commissions like an ornate house sign and a custom chopping board for a boat, further illustrate the variety and adaptability my design strategies can encompass.
